Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk was the child of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. She appeared in many commercials in her early years.
